Yorubo Andabo is band that hails from the streets of Havana that plays rumba with folklore that draws from their African roots for their rhythms. Yorubo Andabo, a group formed out of tradition, is considered the pre eminent rumberos of the Havana area. They have mastered the folkloric presentation of the traditional rumba including guaguanco, yambu, carabali and abacua. Formed over 25 years ago, Yorubo Andabo have recorded over a dozen albums including international work with artists such as Jane Bunnet and Calixto Callava. Yorubo Andabo can be seen regularly in the Havana area delivering their own special bolend of Santeria influenced rumba.
